The flying coke bottle....

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've updated. I guess that I've been waiting until something significant happened, but I know that, some of you, want to know what's going on with me all the time whether it's interesting or plain out boring. :o)

Let me see if I have a funny story to tell... ah ha! At our kitchen sink's window, we have a view of one mountain that's about 10 feet from our house. This mountain has several terraces all around it. Maybe the picture can tell you a little bit about what it looks like. The people that work here have grass growing on them. The grass is to feed the animals at our farm.
Ok, so I was doing my algebra at the kitchen table and I heard a man singing. I looked out the window and there were our friends chopping down the grass. I waved at them and they waved and smiled back. Then, one of the guys (he is around 24) jumped down a few terraces so that he could be almost level with our helper who was standing there washing dishes and making bread. He clasped his hands together and asked very "sweetly", may I have some water? Our helper said sure and got an empty coke bottle and filled it with water, she screwed the lid on tight and opened the window. She got a good hold of the bottle and flung it out there. :o) ha ha ha Then, he stood there and drank the whole thing down and asked for another. She agreed and asked me to get it for him. I got out another coke bottle. It still had coke in it and so I filled it up with tap water and squirted soap in it. Our helper started laughing at me. I felt like I was really one of these people over here when I started rambling off in the language that we use over here. I said that he didn't want to drink coke, he wanted to drink water and in order to make his wish come true I had to wash it. I said it all really fast and she started laughing really hard. :o) I felt stupid. Finally, I threw it out of the window and oviously, my arm wasn't good enough and he had to jump another terrace to get it. Still, he was thankful. :o) Maybe you're thinking that it wasn't very funny at all. I guess that it was really funny when you see it maybe not hear it. :o) Hopefully, some of you laughed a little. :o)

I will be traveling to my friend's village on Tuesday. I am very excited. While I am there, I will also attend a wedding. woo hoo! Awesome experiences!!! Please pr. My whole family will actually go because they were invited to the wedding. It will be hard for us to stay there for four days, with the food and the little rooms with hard, small beds. Please remember us. We are all very excited but a little nervous. I will update after I get back with several stories, I'm sure. :o)

I guess that's all I have to say. I love you people!! Ta ta for now.

For His fame,
Holli

Glad it was a plastic bottle and not what I think of as a coke bottle! I'm sure Luda had a good laugh with you but I'm just as sure that the worker really appreciated yall helping him out.
