Yvonne & Mandy

Hey peoples!
How is everyone? I'm doing wonderfly! :o) My Gram and Teddie are here! I'm so glad that they came! They've already been a blessing. :o) Before they came, Emily and I met up with some of the English camp students and took them to a youth group in town. If you want to know more about the youth group then please email me. I would love to tell you. You could be remembering it too. :o) Before we took thoes students that we met back up with there, Emily and I ate and played around with the two girls that were very close to us. Their names are Yvonne and Mandy. You can be remembering them. They're great girls! After eating, we took them to the park. It's 2,000 steps down from six flags.:o) IT was funny because I was taking them to eat and taking them to the park when actually it would seems that they would need to be escorting the foreigners around. haha! I got a kick outa that. :o) Anyways, we rode go-karts. It was fun and even funnier when Emily crashed. :o) RIght where the go-karts were, there were these huge amungus floral panda bears. hehe.... floral panda bears! :o)

This morning, we had a bunch of minority people show up in our yard. :o) They came to see the foreigners. We're kind of a museam out here. :o) Their clothes were really really neat! We brought out cameras and talked for awhile. It was funny cause they came to look at us and we were happy to look at them. :o) haha In the picture, I'm the one all the way to the right. You'll have to click on it.

(again, click on the picture, you'll be glad you did. :o) )

My best national friend told me that she'll be leaving in about two months. It was a total surprise and shock to me. Well, I knew that she was having health issues and was missing her family. I knew that she would be leaving but the plan was that she would be here for about another half year. So, it was a surprise to me that she would be leaving so soon. :o( It made me quite sad... I cried when she told me. She did too. It was quite sad. This picture was taken right before she told me. :o( It's not a very good pic. haha!

Well, I'm going to go make chocolate chip cookies. I'm gonna chop up a dove bar because we don't have any cohocolate chips. :o) haha
I'll update soon!
Click on the pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:o) love you guys!
:o) smiling,
Holli

Oh, Holli, GREAT PICTURES! I saved two. Now I have pictures of Yvonne and Mandy, which is a good thing because when I go home I'll put them on my desktop to remember China.

Sorry about your friend leaving. I know how that feels.

Talk to you soon!--maybe Friday?

Hey Holli,
Yes, I didn't hit anonymous before. Nice additions to the site. I like the pictures. You may want to check with Cai Xiang again about her "expected" departure date. We keep working through that with her--I think it's likely to be late Summer or early Fall--at this point. I love the front yard picture of all the guests--don't know where we were when they came up. I guess our noses were in our school books. Drop in sometime :-) Stacy
