Fun Times

Ok, I'm just gonna skip right over my birthday and just write about my weekend. To sum the birthday up, I had a great time. :) Oh, and I have a new ipod nano! :)

It's Sunday (Mother's day) and I just had an amazing weekend! Yesterday, I enjoyed a long talk and walk with my close friend XZ. She is so refreshing and fun to hang out with, and I've been missing her since we're both so busy. Then, I got ready to go into town. I went into town with my familia and went to the restaurant with them. Seriously guys, I'm completely not American anymore. At the restaurant, they brought out a chicken soup. It was just a dead chicken cut and cooked up. Everyone besides my dad and I were freakin out. WEIRDOS! It was yummy chicken. :) So, i bagged up the yummy chicken to take to my friends who would appreciate it. After I bagged up the stuff, I left the strange foreigners. I was supposed to meet up with HY at her brother's house. But, she wasn't there yet so I had to call her brother and get him to meet me. We went up to his house and I gave HY's brother's wife the yummy chicken. She appreciated it! I told her the weird foreigners wouldn't eat it. :) There's a picture of the chicken. It's in the big bowl in the middle.

Other TC friends showed up at his house and we enjoyed hanging out together. Then, XD, RF, HY, KL, XZ, and ML (me) went to the skating rink. By that time it was like eleven at night. I'm not crazy about skating, and I was planning on not skating and just sitting on the outside watching. But, once we got there, that place was JAM packed. Craziness was buzzing all over the place!! On the skating floor, people were skating like maniacs and people were falling over. It was a nightmare. But on the outside where the onlookers were, it was also a jungle of weird/drunk people. I was caught. I didn't want to stay on the outside by myself so i decided I better get some stinky skates and go into the disaster area with my friends. I rolled up my nose and told Hy,"get me a size 40." She was happy; I wasn't. Well, it was a disaster for awhile. I was constantly going to the side for safety. HY and I would skate together and so would XZ and RF and XD and I. The bulk of the people ended up leaving and it was a lot more fun. I learned how to turn better and XZ learned how to skate backwards. It was pretty fun. :) After about an hour, we turned in our skates and headed back. HY and I had got a hotel room for like 5 bucks. It's not nice or anything, but like I said, I don't have to live up to American standards anymore. :) HY and I went back there are just talked and watched TV and slept (barely).

The next morning (today), we got up and started doin stuff around in the room. I leaned over to get something in my backpack and something in my neck popped. I thought that was weird. Then I realized that it REALLY hurt. Man, it was painful! I freaked a little and told HY about it. She was concerned but told me I was probably gonna be ok in like three days. I was like.. ok, great. I called my dad and he said i was probably fine. The pain was bad though. I couldn't move AT ALL. I didn't know what to do. HY told me to come on and we would go to a pharmacy and get some Ibuprofen. I agreed but I couldnt carry my backpack. HY carried my backpack for me and I carried her purse. I had to walk very slow and I could barely move my face. When we crossed streets, I looked at HY and said, "My life is in your hands." After I said that a few times, she was like... that scares me!! ;) But, she took care of me. She got me to the pharmacy and got the medicine and got anti- hurt, heat pads ( i don't know how to say that. haha). Then, we headed towards her brothers house to get some stuff before we headed home. Once we got to the house, HY told Lisa, her sister- in-law, about my neck because she's a nurse. Lisa asked me where I hurt and then gave me a massage. It was GREAT! She put the heat thingy on me and the pain wasn't so bad. During the massage, she told me about nursing school. ;) Afterwards, I went into the living room and sat down. I really felt a lot better. :) I could move a little although it wasn't perfect! All of my TC friends were at the house so I didn't really mind not leaving. We were just chillin and makin jokes and having fun. HY's nephew was ADORABLE! I ended up staying to eat and everything. It was yummy. :) we had the unappreciated by foreigners chicken too. :) After eating, HY and I went to two grocery stores and another place to buy things before heading home. That's it.

You might be thinking, ok Holli, that was boring. But, it was amazing for me. I LOOOVE my friends. They mean the world to me. Just to be with them and joke with them and laugh with them is such a HUUUGE blessing. I hope you weren't too bored.

I have three days of school left. I will be so happy when I write the last answer in on my exams, and finish everything. I have three months of summer ahead of me. I'm going to HK for medical stuff with my mom and Jessica after I finish. Then, when we get back, I'm hoping to do a lot of stuff with my friends and enjoy them while I can. I don't know how I'm gonna be able to leave them. It'll be hard. These are just a bunch of pictures of different fun times I've had with my friends.

Well, I better go rest my neck. It's beginning to hurt pretty badly. :( Hopefully I won't die. haha jk. Leave me a comment with your email address. :)
Foreign blessings on all of y'all!
Holli ;)
