Hi my dear friends!

I'll explain the pics first. The first one is of one of my favorite sights here and the second one is of me and our helper. The one I traveled to Kun Ming with.
I am doing good today! It is FREZZING weather!! I am sooo cold and sadly this is about the mildest cold here. :o( That's not anything that I'm looking forward to. We have been here for exactly a month today.
This morning first thing, both of my grandparents called. That was very nice because I miss them and a voice from the states is very nice especially from people I love. After we got off the phone with them we took a bus (because I have a bus pass. It's sooo cool because you get to scan it on the little paying area of the bus :o) he he :o) ) to an appliance store to find a dryer. Mayo there. Mayo means no or not have. When my dad first heard me say mayo to someone he said that mayo is what I put on my bread. He is so dumb he thinks that we're in Spain. :o) Yea right dad!! :o) Anyways, there wasn't a dryer and that's real bad because your clothes never get dry in this cold weather!!! Then you can't ever get clothes washed because all the other clothes that are trying to dry are taking up all the space and there's no where to put all the other clothes when they come out of the washer. My point of all that is to ask y'all to pr for a dryer for us. :o) It's needed right now. :o)
After the little shopping we did we ate chicken nuggets, coke , and french frys at a place called dicos. American food is always nice once in a while!!!!!!!!!! Well, I gotta go and study the language. Love y'all and leave me a comment if you can!

Hello good and faithful friends!

Hey Guys!
I have recieved comments galore this past week! Thank you thank you thank you all!!!!! Tonight I am going to spend the night at a forigners home. She is one year younger than me. We're going to eat pizza (homemade):o) and watch a movie. Friends who speak the same language is nice right now. One night my dad, marshall, and I went to a bike store to get Katibeth a bike. I enjoyed it sooo much because I got to do all the negotiating and talked to the lady at the store in her language. I liked it a lot! Our helper got her cel phone stolen today. She told me that her heart was sad. :o( This country is well known for pick pocketing, sadly :o(.
Well, nothing else has happened lately. I love all of you and thanks again for all the comments. It means a lot. Just a couple words means a lot. Keep them up please. I'll Talk soon

-Let the little Children come to Me.

On my way home I saw a little girl that I took my picture with. It breaks my heart that this girl who has nothing always has a happy face on when she's out where other people can see. With me that's not always the case. I don't always have a happy face on when others can see me and I have everything. I love the children of this world!!!

"AMAZING" THINGS I'VE EATEN!!!!!

Hey Guys this is the post that you'll always want to go back on and see what's new!!!! As the title says it's the "AMAZING" THINGS I'VE EATEN!!!!!!!!

1. Chicken Foot
2. Squid
3. Tree fungus
4. Pig Kidney

After a while you start to not know a title for these things! :o)

Hey Guys! I have about five things that I've been meaning to put on here, and maybe some others as I think of them. First of all, I love this place!!!!!! I think that everything is SO neat, and I think that the culture and the things they do and eat:o) are so nifty! :o) I wish all of you guys could experience this!! I don't notice the staring so much anymore. Which is a praise!!! There is a US restaurant where a lot of forigners come to eat. I really don't like going there because it's a bit odd for me to be with Americans in a forign country. We went to a big metting with all forigners and that wasn't fun for me either. We didn't come for all the people here like us we came to have fun with the people of this Country! I can't believe I'm saying this either because when we left I was thinking up ways for me to count down the days and how I'm going to be able to communicate with everyone I love back at home. Now I'm wondering if we can come back and visit after we come back to the states. Praise Dad!!
One day Dad, Marshall, and I took a little bicycle with a little seat in the back to some apatments to get something from someone. You pay the owner to pedle you wherever you want. It also doesn't even cost a dollar US maybe fifty cents US. With all of the weight in the back seat when we got off the man was sweating and panting! Bless his heart!! We gave him a little extra money and he gladly accepted without question.
I went to see our helper's home one day and it was devistating. It's one SMALL square room with concrete ceiling, floors, and walls. It smelled horrible and it made me cough a whole lot!! The bed was as hard as a table. The room that was called a "bathroom" was shared with everyone else in the apt. complex. There were four fossets and one hole in the floor (squattie potty- I can do it without going all over myself yeaaaaaa!!). There wasn't even a shower. Most people go to a community shower once a week to get clean.
Our helper fixed us "chicken" all the parts that you don't want to eat of a chicken. I decieded to be brave and eat a piece of the FOOT!!! AAAA!!! It was pretty good. My dad and I are still planning on eating dog.
I went to the park one day and practiced language. I asked a little boy what his name was and he told me. I'm learining a WHOLE lot and I'm starting to understand a few words that some people say! YEAAA!!! Praise Him!!!
The Father is keeping us away from being sick continue to pr for that. I love you guys!! Leave me a comment!

Update :o)

Hey Guys!
We're still in language school and we will be for a long three months. We walk to school every day and we walk back. It is two miles there and two miles back!! So we get a good walk in,but right now it's HOT so I personally don't enjoy it. Well, I take that back, we get to get out and spend time in the culture and look at how people do things. For an example today my dad saw a a dead, bloody and shaved goat with it's head cracked open. They had a blow torch inside the head roasting the brain. Appetizing !!!!! That's what they do.
Everytime I see a dog I know that he might be eaten if he's good and fat!! :o) So I just have to train my brain to not think dogs are cute anymore I just try to think about them being tasty. Isn't that sweet of me? :o) HA Protect your dogs when I come home!! HE HE
None of us have gotten sick! Praise the Father!! I was worried about that. I don't exactly like to be sick if you know what I mean. Keep pring that we won't get sick in the days to come.
I think I e-mailed some of you this picture, but I'll put it on here anyways. This is a picture of how furniture gets delivered here. I thought that it was pretty funny!!!!
Leave a comment if you can. Talk to you guys soon!

Sorry it's been a while!

Hey Guys!!
I'm sorry it has been a while! We have arrived at the apt. that we will be staying in for a the three months. We have been here for a week or something like that. We have an helper who is a national. She is helping us by cleaning our house and shopping for us. The plan was for her to fly to our a apartment one day before us so she could shop and clean the apt. for us. She and I had built a really good friendship although she's twenty-five. That doesn't matter. We don't know the same language but we communicate other wise. I know a little of her language she knows a little of mine. Mostly we communicate otherwise like I said. She asked if I could go with her. I had to tell her no because I had already gotten a ticket for the flight the next day. I told my dad about it and he said we could trade in a ticket so I would be able to go. I could tell that my mom was uneasy about the whole thing. Me flying with our helper who doesn't know a lot of English and shopping and walking and cleaning and everything else in a city far away from them for a day and a halve. I could see why she was a little uneasy. I have been on MANY flights so I know how to get my luggage and get out so that part wasn't going to be a big problem. Well, I left and the cool thing was when we went to get on the airplane we got to walk right out to it and walk right under the wing. It was fun!!!
When we arrived in the city we went to our apt. dropped our luggage off and then went to eat we shopped just a little bit for fruit and snacky stuff. Then we spent the night in our apt. The next day we went to "Wal-Mart" their version of it anyways. It was simular. We shopped for awhile. I got really overwelmed in there because the people would all crowd around me just to get a look or touch my hair or something. Some would stop dead infront of my buggy and point and stare. You would get slapped across the face if you did what they did in America. It was really over welming!!! I just wanted to say to everyone please guys I know I look different but I just want to shop for a few things. I just had to smile and move on if I could get past them. :o) After shopping we cleaned the apt. that wasn't to bad. We finished and then I took her to get some American food. Someone had showed our family before how to get there so I took our helper. She loved it!!! It also made me feel good because I'm starting to know my way around. We just kind of hung out until they came home. It was a wounderful and stressful and learning experience all at the same time. :o)
We're getting into the hang of it now. We are three days into language school and it's soooooo exciting for me I'm learinig a lot and I'm sooo eager to know more and more. Thank you for all your thoughts and prs I'm doing so much better than I expected!
My mom just told me something funny! THe other day we had our curtains open and marshall looked over and there were 10-12 people watching us! :o) When they realized that we knew they were out there they didn't go away. One by one they just trailed off and one little lady remained. He HE :o)
Leave me a comment! Love you guys!!!
