Quick Update

It's been too long since I've updated! I have so much I want to say,but little time to say it. My post will most likely be cut short, but oh well.

We just had a team of teachers from California come in and train some english teachers. I've been SOO blessed by them and I'm so thankful they came. My mom and I got to go to KMG and pick them up which was awesome. My mom and I got to eat lots of yummy food and buy stuff that we've needed. Once at the TC, it was lots of fun. I had to do school, but I was able to go to some of the afternoon game classes and was able to go to some of the evening activities. Two girls, Ashley and Hannah, stayed at my house. I'll never be able to describe how much I'm thankful to them! They were awesome just to talk to and hang out with. Everyone on the team was that way. I'm just really greatful for the time I got to spend with all of them. We had lots of fun! One night, we had an awesome food fight!! It was all good until I cracked my tail bone. It still hurts today, but it's getting better. I wish I could type up all the details, but I don't have enough time. :o( Just let the pictures speak for themselves. :o) (click on the pics so you can see better!!)

I have eight days left in school! I think that I'll cry when I watch the last videos. The day after I finish, our whole family will go to KMG for about 5 days. SO EXCITED!! :o) THen, after that, I'm headed out to Hai kuo- the island. I'm traveling there by myself and then my friends will pick me up on the other end. I'll stay with my friends for a week or so and then head home. It's gonna be a super vacation for me, but I'm a little nervous about the flight by myself. It's only a two hour flight but I'm still nervous. PLEASE be remembering me(smooth flight and that I won't be nervous by myself). Thank you!

There's an updated picture of yi bei cha or teacup. She's getting big! She was sad when the team left too because hannah actually paid attention to her. :O) Yi bei cha is the funniest dog. She jumps up on our beds and then she's too scared to jump down so she barks at us to get her off. :o)

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!

I'm proud to be an American.... For me, my American pride seeps out when I get out my passport. Here, it's not easy for anyone to get a passport. They're pretty much just stuck where they are. I'm SOO glad that I have the freedoms to go out of my own country because being here has meant more than words can express. I'm so glad that we have the freedoms to go other places and see other cultures. That's one thing that I'm really thankful for, this year.

There's nothing better than celebrating the fourth of july in a COMPLETELY different country. haha We're going to have a small celebration tonight. We're having chicken legs, yummy bread, and APPLE PIE which is my favorite. :o) I miss celebrating with family. Love you guys! I miss going to Gram and Paw's house for black eyed peas at lunch. I msis going to me-maw and pe-paw's house for supper.

I'm a little bit better. My DAD and friends are coming back tonight! I've been missing my dad. :o) so happy that they're coming back.... AND I'm still freakin excited about getting to go to the city with my mom on Sunday! :o) :o) :o) yea!!! I LOVE MY MOM and I can't wait to spend time with her. I have to be honest, I really like staying in hotels! I'm sure I'll eat some good stuff too and maybe even drink a good ole Dr. Pepper!

Well, gotta finish school. I wanna be done in time for the yummy 4th of July meal! Love you all

Quick Update

Hey Guys

I'm just going to type a really quick update. School has been SO busy lately, but I still wanted to make a second or two to let you guys know what has been going on and what will go on.

Yes, I'm still doing school. I will finish August third, and have the rest of the month off. Then, I'll start my first year of high school. I will have a busy yet fun time in August. I'm seriously planning on going to see my good friend, Kristi who lives on this COuntry's island. :o) FUN! I'll probabaly be there the first week of AUgust. We haven't finished planning out the rest of the month but we want to make lots of time to do lots of fun stuff. I only ask for a day or two to rest. :o) yea!

Hannah came back again. She was just passing through. Her original plan was just to stay for a couple days but we talked her into a little longer than that. :o) That time was very special for me and I'm glad she had the opprotunity to come back.

Two days ago, Saturday, I took three of my friends to the airport to see the airplane come in. THey had never seen an airplane before and were so excited. :o) They were asking me funny questions like... Can an airplane hold more than 10 people... ect... I love my friends. :o)

Well, to be honest, I'm not having a good week. Something happened and I've been rather sad. :o( All of my friends have left (to a village) and my dad left (to a village). My dad's the one who really knows how to lift my spirits around the house and it was really sad to see him go even though he'll be back Wednesday. :o(

My mom and I will be traveling to Kun Ming this coming SUnday. We're going to pick up some people and will be there for a few days. I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY looking forward to that time. Can't wait!

I have to get back to school. THanks for taking time to read. :o)
